During the Holiday Season, most of Shelby County Board of DD’s (SCBDD) employees step out of the office and spend a little more time focusing on their own families. There has never been a year here at our board that resembles the challenges we’ve had in 2020. We know everyone from Direct Support Professionals (DSP’s) to the people we support and their families hope for Holidays as peaceful as years past. This is SCBDD’s wish for all! However, we want you to know that we are still available beginning 12/24/20 through 1/3/21 anytime more support is needed. So whether you’re a DSP needing a little bit more Personal Protective Equipment or a person we support who had an unexpected need, don’t hesitate to reach out to us during this time.
