Congratulations to December’s Provider of the Month, Alicia Gillem. Alicia has been a caretaker for about 20 years. She has worked with children, elderly, and now the DD population; she loves taking care of people! Alicia has been employed with CRSI since February of this year and is currently a home manager. She considers it a good work day when a consumer greets her with a smile or acknowledges her when she walks in the door. It’s a great day everyday! Alicia is a wonderful advocate for all the individuals she works with. She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has anything and everything they may want or need. She is always responsive and open to trying new ideas.
The Service and Support Administration Department would like to recognize our providers who go above and beyond for the people they support. Every month we will spotlight a “Provider of the Month”. Nominees will be selected by vote from submission forms received the previous month. Just a small token of our appreciation for all that you do for the people in Shelby County!
Providers of services to people with developmental disabilities may be independent (self employed individuals) or agencies. In either situation, providers must be certified through the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities in order to provide services through waiver funding.
