Congratulations to Elizabeth “Betsey” Nave! You are Shelby Co Board of DD’s Provider of the Month for May 2021.
Betsey shares a positive energy with all of her clients. She promotes each client’s unique goals and outcomes. Betsey is also great with connecting to her clients. She really gets to know each and every one of them – their likes, dislikes, wants, fears, goals, etc. She is a go-getter and always ready to step in when needed! For a little over two years, Betsey has worked in the DD field as an independent provider. Betsey says, “A good work day for me is getting to see my clients’ smiling faces while we work on their goals, knowing I am helping someone else succeed.”
All people with various levels of abilities, sometimes need help. Providers are the key to independent living for those with developmental disabilities. We are very fortunate at The Shelby County Board of Developmental Disabilities to have Betsey as an Independent Provider for the people we serve.
